Columbus State University

Columbus State University recently celebrated its 50th anniversary and is located in Georgia's second largest city located 90 miles southwest of Atlanta. The university has over 8,000 students and offers a wide array of undergraduate and graduate programs. The university is actively involved in the economic development of west central Georgia.

The Turner College of Business is AACSB accredited with a highly qualified faculty offering undergraduate degrees in Accounting, General Business, Finance, Management, Management Information Systems, and Marketing. The college also offers the Master of Business Administration degree in both the traditional on-campus evening format and exclusively online. As a teaching institution our faculty are dedicated to quality instruction and work closely with students to insure their success.

International Accreditation and Student Success

Columbus State University is an AACSB accredited institution. This designation is important to our institution and our students since less than 30% of colleges of business in the U.S. have achieved such recognition. The college closely assesses the achievement of the learning objectives of our programs to insure the quality of the program and success of our students. Our students consistently score above the national average on assessment exams.

The faculty of the Turner College of Business are continuously involved in research to update their academic credentials. The majority of our faculty participate in applied research which benefits business practitioners and pedagogical research that improves teaching.

The college also enjoys a significant relationship with the business community through local research projects and opportunities for our faculty and students to interact with business leaders.
