The College of Business at Georgia College is one of the founding members of the Georgia WebMBA®. As is true of the other participating institutions, our undergraduate and graduate programs are AACSB accredited. The college's graduate office can provide the support services necessary to enable you to successfully complete a Web-based MBA. We believe that one of our distinctive competencies relative to other consortium schools is our ability to provide individualized attention and professional advising services.
Georgia College is recognized nationally for the quality of its programs. For example, in a recent U.S. News and World Report ranking, in the category of "Top Public Universities" for Master's degrees in the South, Georgia College ranked 11th. In the overall rankings, Georgia College ranked 31st among both public and private Master's universities in the South. For three consecutive years, Georgia College has been named "A Best in the Southeast" college by The Princeton Review, which places it in an elite group of 25% of the nation's 2,500 four-year colleges.
Georgia WebMBA® Admission Requirements
We review your application materials to help determine your likelihood of success in a Web-based MBA program. Successful applicants combine relevant professional experience with a prior record of academic achievement and a competitive score on the GMAT exam. In some cases, applicants with significant professional experience after receiving a bachelor's degree may use that experience as an alternative to the GMAT.
Regardless of academic background, you are expected to be fluent in the following foundation areas: accounting, finance, statistics, and economics. You may be able to use undergraduate coursework to satisfy these requirements. Applicants who are not fluent with foundation course materials through recent coursework or professional experience are encouraged to take the modules as a refresher.
The Georgia WebMBA® provides self-paced, Web-based modules to satisfy any missing foundation requirements. We will evaluate your transcripts to determine which, if any, foundation modules you need.
