Dr. Joseph S. Bocchi
Dr. Joseph S. Bocchi, Executive Director, Georgia WebMBA Program

Dr. Joseph Bocchi is the Executive Director of the Georgia WebMBA® program and Senior Lecturer of Managerial Communications at the College of Business Administration, Georgia Southern University. Dr. Bocchi has held teaching positions in communications at Kennesaw State University, Georgia State University, and Radford University.

He is the former Project Associate: Instructional Designer and Editor – Professional Development Program, Nelson A. Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, State University of New York at Albany. He won the Silver Level Award for "Didactic Online Learning in an International Virtual Team" at the Global Businesses E-Learning Conference, Hamburg, Germany (2006). He has been a member of the University System of Georgia's Governor's Teaching Fellows Program, and was a member of the Master Teaching Program and Leadership at Kennesaw State University. He was named a Mellon Foundation Fellow and Kennesaw Presidential Scholar. He and his colleagues recently were awarded Best Paper by The Clute Institute for Academic Research for their work on important characteristics in an MBA program. He was a keynote panelist on the "Technical Revolution or Organizational Rebellion? An Online Learning Consumer Report" at the 2000 Training Directors' Forum. He has served as Senior Marketing Communications Associate, Human Resource Development Director, and Senior Performance Consultant in nation-wide staffing and financial services companies. Dr. Bocchi's consulting and course design work with New York government and Atlanta-area companies has included communications, coaching, team building, problem solving, and leadership. His research has been published in the International Journal of Management in Education, Journal of Education for Business, MBAR Journal, Human Resource Planning Journal, Journal of Business and Technical Communication, and IEEE Transactions on Professional Writing.
